Work on the PUSD Bond Program continues in earnest:

- The architectural firm of Murakami/Nelson has been selected to conduct the next level of engineering and cost estimation work.
- Thanks to community members who continue to take an active role in working collaboratively with school officials and new Program Manager, David Burke, through their service on the Technical Advisory Committee, Citizens’ Oversight Committee, and the Steering Committee.
- Piedmont High School and Elementary School staffs are developing educational program needs lists and priorities for their respective school sites in preparation for upcoming public engagement meetings.These lists will be the topic of discussion at the next set of public engagement meetings at individual school sites.
- The school district welcomes public input on needs and priorities identified by the PHS and Havens staff on the following dates:
PHS Tuesday November 28 7-9 pm PHS Library
Havens Thursday November 30* 7-9 pm Ellen Driscoll Auditorium
* Note: Changed from November 29, because of a conflict with the City’s Tree Lighting Ceremony at the center of town.
Although these meetings are specific to the school sites, anyone is welcome to attend to learn more and ask questions.A community-wide meeting will be scheduled in early January for broader public input to educational program needs at both the high school and elementary levels.
