.I sent a “Maintenance Guide” & “In-Fill Care Card” for your review via e-mail on 10/22/09.

.There are no limits to the amount of time that a Sportexe field can be used & the durability will remain constant if you following the maintenance guidelines & properly clean any debris off the field.Refer to the Turf Tech information sheets & a 8 Year 3rd Party Insured Warranty brochure sent via e-mail on 10/22/09.

.The estimated lifetime of the field will range from 8 to 12 years. However, this is a difficult question to answer because each field we install is situated in a different location, receive various UV & weather exposure, foot-traffic demands & maintenance care.

.I sent a 8 Year 3rd Party Insured Warranty brochure via e-mail on 10/22/09 that explains the warranty period & the built in protection our clients receive throughout the warranty period.

.The warranty only covers the manufactured & installed turf system. The base & drainage construction should be covered by the general contractor (unless otherwise negotiated with the contractor).

.The cost to replace the turf system (only) in a 8 ““ 12 year period is difficult to project. However, based on historical trends in this industry, I would say $ 4.50/sqft would be an educated assumption (petroleum cost fluctations will dictate that ultimate cost of the turf system (turf & infill replacement).

.Yes, refer to the “Life Cycle Recycle/ Reuse Strategy” information page sent for your review via e-mail on 10/22/09.

.Yes, refer to the “Life Cycle Recycle/ Reuse Strategy” information page sent for your review via e-mail on 10/22/09.Furthermore, rubber & sand infill materials can be reused from the original installation of your field.

.The risk of bacteria & mold growth is minimal as there are know organics found in our turf system but if the infill is contaminated with organic debris (example: pine needles, leafs etc.) or lack of regular grooming/ debris sweeping, then the potential for growth might occur (weeds etc.).

.Refer to reports in e-mail # 7 sent for your review via e-mail on 10/22/09 (see attached).

.To reduce the risk of infill materials migrating off the field, purchase a heavy face weight (turf fiber) turf product, refer to “Fiber Density” & the Momentum “Specs & Product” data reports sent for your review via e-mail on 10/22/09.

.The turf industry has used first generation slit-tape fibers & sand rubber infill for 25 years. We are all now manufacturing & installing fourth generation slit-tape fibers (sand rubber infill). This new generation is more durable, has a 10 year UV Package & stays more elastic throughout it”’s life-cycle.Refer to “Strenexe” fiber in the Momentum spec & data sheets sent for your review via e-mail on 10/22/09.
